Jamie Carragher has said on Sky Sports Premier League (9:47pm, February 13, 2023) that Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez was “electric” against Sean Dyche’s Everton at Anfield in the Merseyside derby on Monday evening.
The former Liverpool defender was hugely impressed by the performance of Nunez against Everton in the Premier League game.
Carragher was on co-commentary duty on Sky Sports for the match.
Liverpool won the Merseyside derby against Everton 2-0.
Carragher said in the 90th minute: “Nunez has been electric.”

In our view, Darwin Nunez played well for Liverpool against Everton in the Merseyside derby.
Yes, the 23-year-old striker could not score, but he provided an assist.
Nunez was very quick for the counter-attacking goal that Mohamed Salah scored in the first half to give Liverpool the team.
Even Salah was left stunned by how far the Uruguay international striker ran.
There were a couple of chances that Nunez could have scored from, but other than that, he was brilliant.
The striker was very lively throughout his time on the pitch and was a constant menace for the Everton defence.
Once Nunez scores a couple of goals, the floodgates will open.
