First and foremost they have been much more of an attacking threat, posting more shots and more shots on target per game.
They have also been better defensively, winning more tackles, more defensive duels and registering more ball recoveries per game than they managed before.

The Dutchman appears to have them playing more direct also, as they have registered fewer passes and fewer passes in the final third under his leadership.
That direct approach is also represented in their number of touches, with them registering 67 fewer touches per game than under Martinez.
Those changes have so far yielded great success and they will be hoping that remains the case throughout this season.
