Aston Villa have plenty of valuable assets who could be moved on at the end of the season..

Aston Villa boss Dean Smith has a lot of work to do this summer, if he is to build a squad who are capable of making genuine improvements next season.
Regardless of whether the Villans gain promotion or not, the problem for Smith is that he will probably not be given lavish funds in order to bolster his ranks sufficiently.
He may instead have to sell before he can buy, and with that in mind, here are eight Aston Villa players who could realistically be let go this summer…
Mark Bunn:
The 34-year-old is out of contract in the summer, and it is highly unlikely that he will be offered a new deal.
Estimated value: £0
Tommy Elphick:
The 31-year-old has spent two separate loan spells away from Aston Villa recently, and Smith would surely not stand in his way, if a reasonable offer comes in for his services in the summer.
Estimated value: £4 million

Alan Hutton:
The Scot’s deal expires in the summer, and Villa could be keen to get his hefty wages off their books.
Estimated value: £0
Albert Adomah:
The experienced winger was linked with a move away from Villa in January, according to the Northern Echo, and if his £5 million valuation is met in the the summer, he could very well be on his way.
Estimated value: £5 million
Jack Grealish:
Villa’s prized asset – the 23-year-old should fetch somewhere around £30 million in the transfer market.
Estimated value: £30 million

Glenn Whelan:
The Irishman’s deal expires in the summer, and Villa will likely not offer him terms on a new contract.
Estimated value: £0
Mile Jedinak:
Another player out of contract., the Australian looks set to be on his way out of Villa Park.
Estimated value: £0
Jonathan Kodjia:
The Ivory Coast striker has been linked with an exit from Villa Park, according to Ouest-France, and the west Midlands outfit should be able to recoup the £11 million that they paid for his services nearly three years ago.
Estimated value: £11 million
