Former Chelsea striker Eidur Gudjohnsen believes that Swansea City midfielder, Gylfi Sigurdsson may consider trying his luck at a bigger club next season.
The 27-year-old has enjoyed a superb 2016/17 Premier League campaign where he scored nine goals and provided 13 assists, and helped Swansea avoid dropping out of the top flight.
His impressive form has caught the attention of Premier League clubs like Leicester City, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur, but Swansea are determined to hold on to their prized asset.

Gudjohnsen says that Sigurdsson has tremendous quality and would improve any team in the Premier League. However, after such an impressive season, the Iceland international might consider making a move to a bigger club.
“Gylfi has had a really good season,” Gudjohnsen told Press Association Sport (h/t The Standard).
“He’s obviously been one of the most important players in keeping Swansea in the Premier League.
“He’s got tremendous quality, but he can still improve on certain things whether he stays or go. But he’s come to an age where he might want to try his luck at a bigger club or even European football.
“It’s all down to him. If he’s happy where he is, he should stay.”
Last month reports surfaced that Swansea had agreed to an £25 million transfer fee with Everton (The Sun) for their star player, but the Wales club quickly dismissed those claims.

Tottenham have been linked with a move for the Swansea star as well with Mauricio Pochettino admitting earlier that it was a shame that he left White Hart Lane.
According to the Evening Standard, Swansea value the Icelandic playmaker at £40 million.
Sigurdsson has admitted that he is happy at Swansea and is not looking for a move. However, Swansea could be forced to sell him if any potential suitor match their asking price.
