Charlie Taylor has pegged Liverpool as a dream destination for when his Leeds contract runs down but they do not appear interested despite a setback over Ryan Sessegnon.

It is almost a month since Charlie Taylor tainted his name at Leeds United by choosing not to play in their last game of the season.
The left-back was reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post earlier this year to have his heart set on a move to Liverpool, believing it could be possible.
As of right now the only side to show interest in Taylor is West Bromwich Albion.
And this has to be an ego blow to the 23-year-old in light of Liverpool’s current left-back chase

The situation
Liverpool’s need for a new left-back is no secret, with Alberto Moreno unconvincing, and James Milner only ever a stop-gap solution.
The Reds were claimed to be in for Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon but The Mirror report the Reds have failed in their attempts to sign him and given up.

So is Taylor now on their radar? Not exactly.
ESPN report Liverpool are battling for Monaco left-back Benjamin Mendy, and will duke it out with Manchester City to try and get their man.
The Mail claim the Reds are after three time Premier League winner Gael Clichy who will be a free agent this summer.
Taylor will be left wondering just how far down Liverpool’ list he is.
He may well end up getting his Premier League switch, but his new home stadium is likely to be at The Hawthorns and not Anfield.
