Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter after noticing something about Kostas Tsimikas in training.

The 6-cap Greece international was spotted in training yesterday, and supporters were quick to point out that he didn’t look 100% at the AXA Training Centre.

We must state that we don’t like to comment on someone’s appearance, not least in a negative manner.

However, there’s no denying that the left-back looks vastly different to when he arrived.

Fans dug out a photo of the 24-year-old on the day his £11.75 million move from Olympiakos was announced, and the differences are obvious.

Tsimikas did test positive for COVID-19 back at the start of September, so perhaps he is still feeling the effects of that – as one fan below also points out.

In truth, perhaps supporters are shocked due to the Thessaloniki-born defender’s lack of game time.

If they’d seen him on the pitch week in, week out, then perhaps they wouldn’t be so alarmed by his change in appearance.

Jurgen Klopp has handed Tsimikas just three starts since signing him in the summer.

The left-back has started two Champions League games, and has also made one start in the Carabao Cup.

Let’s see what the Liverpool fans on Twitter have been saying…
