Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is wanted by Wolverhampton Wanderers amid rumours surrounding the future of Pedro Neto.
Wolverhampton Wanderers are thought to be interested in Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale as a replacement for Jose Sa.
That is according to a report from The Mirror (26/11, p70), who claim that Wolves are now ‘sounding out’ Arsenal for a Ramsdale move.
The England international has lost his place to David Raya this season and finds himself stuck on the bench.
Ramsdale did start against Brentford on Saturday with Raya ineligible to face his parent club, but he looks unlikely to take his spot back.
Wolves want Aaron Ramsdale
Ramsdale has gone from being Arsenal’s first-choice for two years to sitting on the bench.
The 25-year-old will surely consider leaving Arsenal in 2024 in order to play regularly and Wolves are keen.
It’s stated that Wolves are ‘keen’ to cash in on goalkeeper Jose Sa amid rising interest from Saudi Arabia.
Wolves would allegedly sell for around £35million and are even described as ‘confident’ that he will move on.
Wolves would then want to sign Ramsdale as a replacement with a loan deal – including an option to buy – being targeted.

Arsenal may fancy Pedro Neto swap deal
If Wolves really are keen on Ramsdale, Arsenal may just fancy dangling him in a move for Pedro Neto.
TEAMtalk claimed just a few days ago that Arsenal want Neto and are leading the race for his signature.
Arsenal ideally want to land another winger to support Bukayo Saka; a right-sided winger who can cut in on his left foot to cause mayhem.
Neto fits the bill and a £60million fee was mentioned in that report with Mikel Arteta keen to land the Portuguese wide man.
Maybe Arsenal will now be tempted to offer cash plus Ramsdale in a deal for Neto, using Wolves’ interest in the stopper to secure a big deal.
We don’t often see swap deals but Wolves wanting Ramsdale may just tempt Arsenal into making a cheeky move in January.
