Arsenal fans appear to be pleased with suggestions that they are about to receive around £9 million for Sead Kolasinac.

The left-back is now said to be on the verge of a move to Bayer Leverkusen by SportBILD, after the German club agreed a fee with Arsenal.

And the transfer update has led to Edu taking great praise from Gunners fans.

Arsenal supporters feel that they have raised an excellent amount of money for a player who is effectively a reserve for them, and now hope that his sale can contribute towards making incoming additions before deadline day.

Arsenal have been desperately trying to raise funds, as they look to bring in a central midfielder.

Getting Kolasinac out the door should help them in their cause, as the Bosnian was on a hefty wage at the Emirates Stadium.

Kolasinac’s departure does weaken Arsenal’s options in defence slightly, but he was only ever a covering option for Mikel Arteta.

And if his exit does lead to the arrival of Houssem Aouar, then Arsenal will surely feel that they have done some excellent business.
