Edu Gaspar and Ian Wright have reacted to the brilliance of Gabriel Magalhaes on Instagram, after Arsenal thrashed Everton in their latest 4-0 win on Wednesday.

Edu Gaspar & Ian Wright stunned by Gabriel heroics on Instagram after Arsenal beat Everton

After the Gunners took home the 3 points in style against Sean Dyche’s men, the Brazilian defender captioned his picture saying, “Another clean sheet and 3 points! Thank you for your incredible support, Gunners!”

Edu Gaspar reacted to the Instagram post by describing Gabriel Magalhaes’ performance for Arsenal against Everton as ‘top’ while Ian Wright simply said, ‘brilliant tonight, Gabs’.

The ‘incredible’ £27 million (Sky Sports) defender is having a somewhat underrated season for the league leaders, as Tony Cascarino pointed out recently.

Week in, week out, the 25-year-old continues to put in commanding displays at the back and has not put a foot wrong, especially since the resumption of club football, despite William Saliba being rather error-prone, as Tony Adams once said.

However, the same cannot be said about Gabriel anymore, as he showcased for Arsenal in their emphatic win against Everton, leaving Edu Gaspar and Ian Wright stunned on Instagram.

A case for being the best centre-back in the Premier League this season?

Alongside the likes of Manchester United duo Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane, Newcastle United’s Fabian Schar and Sven Botman, Manchester City’s John Stones and his very own teammate in William Saliba, he is right up there.

Considering Gabriel continues to come up trumps for Arsenal, as he showed against Everton, leaving Edu Gaspar and Ian Wright blown away on Instagram in the process, there is certainly an argument to make that he has been top dog.

Keeping in mind the fact that Mikel Arteta’s side have the pressure of winning the title after 19 years, the fact that he continues to deliver on such a consistent basis does deserve a special mention.
