Kai Havertz scored his first goal for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal since joining the Gunners from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, and one of his former teammates, Antonio Rudiger, is among those who are happy for him.
Arsenal eased past Bournemouth away from home in the Premier League on Saturday.
Kai Havertz was among the goalscorers.
The Germany international forward found the back of the net in the 53rd minute.
The goal came from the penalty spot.
Praise for Arsenal midfielder Kai Havertz
Havertz, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, started for Arsenal against Bournemouth.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta deployed the 24-year-old on the left of a three-man midfield in a 4-3-3 formation.
As you can see below, Arsenal Sporting Director Edu was impressed by the display produced by Havertz.
Antonio Rudiger has also applauded Havertz for his goal and performance for Arsenal against Bournemouth.
Rudiger played with Havertz at Chelsea.

The Real Madrid central defender also plays with the Arsenal summer signing for the Germany national football team.
Confidence boost for Kai Havertz
I do not think that Kai Havertz was particularly great for Arsenal against Bournemouth.
Yes, the 24-year-old scored a goal from the penalty spot and got better as the game progressed, but I think that we need to see the former Chelsea player do well on a regular basis.
Playing relatively well in one game does not change much.
However, I believe that Havertz’s goal against Bournemouth will give the Arsenal midfielder a lot of confidence.
The German star now needs to build on his performance against the Cherries.
