Edouard, 20, has praised the 25-year-old Scotland international central midfielder for his performance, and believes that he can fill the position left empty by midfielder Brown.
“Callum is a really good player and has shown that he can fill the position that has been left empty by Scott,” Edouard told The Daily Record.
“The players who are ready just get on with it when people are missing from the team because of injuries.”

McGregor is a very good player who has been playing well for Celtic for the past few seasons.
The Scotland international is only 25 years of age, and he can only get better in the coming years.
Brown remains an important player for Celtic, but the former Scotland international is 33 years of age.
Edouard spent the 2017-18 season on loan at Celtic from Paris Saint-Germain and made the move permanent in the summer of 2018 for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £9 million.
