Some Celtic fans on Twitter are calling on the club to sign Odsonne Edouard up to a new deal, following a contract extension for Ryan Mullen.

The influential hitman scored 28 goals in all competitions this past season.

In doing so, Edouard, who joined Celtic for £9 million in 2018, has found himself being linked with some pretty big clubs.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are among those reportedly looking at the Hoops marksman, who only has two years left on his contract.

Celtic signed 19-year-old goalkeeper Mullen up to a new deal on Tuesday, and fans of the Parkhead club, who were awarded a ninth-successive Premiership title this week, want the same with Edouard.

Here’s how they reacted to Mullen’s extension on Twitter:

Next season is now massive for Celtic.

If Neil Lennon’s side win the title again for the 2020-21 campaign then it’ll represent a historic 10-in-a-row – and success is much more probable if Edouard stays in Glasgow.
