The Celtic midfielder will be a major force against Rangers in the years ahead.
New Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha has wasted little time giving youth a chance at Ibrox, with Myles Beerman and David Bates both benefitting from a change at the top and excelling in the process.
But Celtic have a teenage prospect with the potential to outshine whatever youngsters Rangers hand chances to in the years ahead.
Bhoys midfielder Eboue Kouassi has been hit-and-miss thus far, yet he was always going to take time to settle at Celtic Park and he possesses the innate talent to take Scottish football by storm.
While Beerman and, to a lesser extent, Bates have quickly adapted to the Scottish Premiership, they have had at least a couple of seasons with British clubs under their belts.
Not so Kouassi who is of Ivorian descent and who made his name in Russian football.
He showed at former club Krasnodar that he is the real deal and in time he is the kind of player who could go down as a Celtic great.

He really is that good, and he will be a key element of the battles with Rangers’ next generation over the next few years.
Celtic already possess some of the most exciting young talent in the game, most notably Kieran Tierney and Moussa Dembele, but if their futures are elsewhere it could be Kouassi who puts Rangers’ hopefuls in their place as we head towards the next decade.
