Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the world. The 24-year-old has been in superb form for Tottenham Hotspur for the past three or so seasons and has also established himself in the England starting lineup.
A very mobile footballer, Kane does not rely on creative midfielders in the team to provide him with chances. The Englishman is good enough to create his own chances.
The Spurs star is always a nuisance for the opposition defenders. Even when he does not score goals, Kane is a handful for the opponents and is never shy of shooting on goal.
Kane was on international duty with England this past week, and on Sunday he lined up against Lithuania away from home in their final 2018 World Cup qualifier.
Ahead of the match in Vilnius on Sunday, Lithuania head coach Edgaras Jankauskas suggested one way to stop Kane.
“The best plan would be not letting him into the stadium,” Goal.com quoted Jankauskas as saying.
Of course, Jankauskas made the aforementioned comment in jest, but one suspects that managers in the Premier League would be thinking that as well.
Man-marking Kane is practically impossible due to his style of play, and even if the opposition is able to cut service to him from midfield, the Spurs striker is good enough to create chances for himself.
