Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has raved about the progress of midfielder Phil Foden this season.
City picked up another huge win on Tuesday night, smashing West Bromwich Albion 5-0 at The Hawthorns.
Ilkay Gundogan bagged a brace whilst Joao Cancelo, Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling were also on the scoresheet in a huge win.
City suddenly look like the title favourites now after seven wins in a row and just one goal conceded in that run.
Even with Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero out, City continue to shine – and the progress of Foden has to be a huge source of joy for Pep Guardiola.
Foden, 20, has come up through the City ranks and has now received a bigger role after years of being in and around the first team.

Foden has smashed nine goals and five assists in 26 games this season, taking on the important role that many expected of him following David Silva’s departure.
Now, goalkeeper Ederson has told the Manchester Evening News that whilst Silva is a ‘big miss’, he thinks Foden has enjoyed ‘huge growth’ this season and is filling the void perfectly.
“The departure of David Silva was a big miss for us,” said Ederson. “To me, he is one of the best players I have ever seen. His talent was unbelievable. But, on the other hand, we have Phil Foden now. He has experienced a huge growth this season,” he added.
