Ederson and the Liverpool star are competing for FIFA’s Best Goalkeeper prize.

Ederson has admitted that Liverpool’s Alisson has been a better goalkeeper than him.
The Manchester City star is challenging his Reds counterpart and Barcelona’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen for FIFA’s Best Goalkeeper award.
Ederson helped the Citizens to Premier League glory at the expense of Liverpool last season, but his fellow Brazilian played a huge role in Jurgen Klopp’s side winning the Champions League.
And although the Man City star agrees with the three-man shortlist, he claims that Alisson has been a level above him and Ter Stegen.
He told Goal.com: “I think the three of us were the best, but I see Alisson one step ahead.
“He was great in the Premier League, won the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and had a great Copa America as well.”
Ederson, a £35 million signing by Pep Guardiola in 2017 [BBC Sport], is right here.
Alisson, whose Liverpool side finished behind City by a single point last season, conceded one less goal than Guardiola’s goalkeeper last term.
It was a fantastic first year at Anfield for the former Roma star – who is currently injured – and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he followed that up with another one.
