Chelsea drew 2-2 with West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.

Chelsea scored a dramatic late equaliser to rescue a point against an impressive West Bromwich Albion at Stamford Bridge.

The Baggies were heading for a famous victory before a controversial spot-kick was awarded and subsequently converted by Eden Hazard.

Samuel Eto’o initially put the home side in the lead on the stroke of half-time. But two goals in eight minutes first from Shane Long and then Stephane Sessegnon saw the visitors claim the lead.

With time running out, Ramires appeared to go to ground easily following a collision with Steven Reid. But referee Andre Marriner pointed to the spot and Hazard came to Jose Mourinho’s rescue.

The result means Chelsea are now fourth in the Premier League, while West Brom are ninth.
