Eden Hazard is now reportedly wanted by Turkish side Fenerbahce, with Aston Villa and Newcastle United still interested in signing the Real Madrid outcast.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Super Lig side have joined the race to sign Hazard as the Belgian international finally looks set to leave Madrid this January, with Los Blancos eager to rid themselves of the winger’s reported £384,000-a-week contract.
Defensa Central has recently reported that Unai Emery was keen on signing Hazard this January, whilst according to ESPN, Newcastle remain interested in the former Chelsea superstar, who is now seemingly on Fenerbahce’s radar this month.
The Istanbul-based side are no stranger to superstar signings, with Fenerbahce signing Mesut Ozil from Arsenal in 2021 with the Turkish side since bringing in the likes of Michy Batshuayi, Emre Mor and Enner Valencia. Yet Hazard would be the biggest of the lot.

Despite being poor for Madrid since joining the Spanish giants in 2018, Hazard is still one of the most famous football players on the planet and a player who would add a lot of value to Fenerbahce if the Turkish side can agree a deal to sign the winger.
Indeed, Turkish clubs have been making some quite extraordinary signings in recent windows. And for Fener, recruiting Hazard would be a massive sign of intent, much to the dismay of Premier League duo Newcastle and Villa.
Fenerbahce signing Hazard would be huge

Hazard’s next move in football will be one of the biggest transfers of that particular window, and Fenerbahce signing the Madrid superstar would be nothing short of massive for both the club and Turkish football given how much star power the winger commands.
Whilst a Premier League return would be great with either Newcastle or Villa, Hazard taking the more unconventional route to redemption via Turkey would be a great story for all to see, and the move itself could do a lot of good for the Super Lig and Fenerbahce.
