Tottenham Hotspur beat Eden Hazard’s Chelsea side 3-1, with Mauricio Pochettino’s men dominating the contest.

Tottenham ran out 3-1 winners over Chelsea on Saturday evening, after putting in an impressive display at Wembley.
Spurs were the dominant force throughout the match, and even Hazard was forced to admit that the scoreline flattered Chelsea.
“It could have been a lot worse on Saturday,” Hazard said. “Everything was bad against Spurs. Against Tottenham it is always going to be hard to start a game 2-0 down.
“When we are losing, you can always find an excuse but Tottenham were just better.”
Spurs took the lead against Chelsea when Dele Alli flicked in a header, before Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son put the points beyond any doubt.

Kane and Son were both guilty of missing big opportunities for Spurs during the match though, as Spurs failed to really put a gloss on the scoreline.
Tottenham are now the top London club after inflicting Chelsea’s first defeat of the season.
Spurs are in third place in the Premier League table, and they are still within touching distance of the league leaders.
