Leeds United fans have a new hero.

Eddie Nketiah of Leeds United celebrates during the Sky Bet Championship match between Leeds United and Brentford at Elland Road on August 21, 2019 in Leeds, England.

He’s only been at Leeds United for a fortnight, but Eddie Nketiah is already a hero.

Arsenal loanee Nketiah downed Pontus Jansson’s Brentford last night, scoring a late winner.

This was Nketiah’s second goal for the club after he netted on his debut against Salford City last week.

Nketiah sent a message to Leeds fans after the victory.

The Whites have 10 points from their opening four matches, and have brushed aside the hangover from last season’s play-off collapse.

Patrick Bamford remains first choice striker for now at Leeds, netting a brace at the weekend.

But on nights where Bamford isn’t getting it done, Nketiah is invaluable.

This is his first loan, and the Arsenal youngster has almost limitless potential at this point, with Marcelo Bielsa steering him in the right direction.
