Arsenal-owned Leeds United striker Eddie Nketiah has taken to Twitter to express his delight at his side’s win against Barnsley on Sunday afternoon.

Nketiah, signed on loan from Arsenal in the summer transfer window, made a huge difference in the Championship game between Barnsley and Leeds at Oakwell.

The 20-year-old striker came on as a substitute in the second half and scored the opening goal in the 84th minute.

Then a few minutes later, the England Under-21 international earned a penalty which Mateusz Klich tucked in.

Nketiah has taken to Twitter to revel in his heroics for Leeds and for the win for his side.

Stats

Nketiah has scored two goals in 78 Championship minutes and two goals in two EFL Cup ties for Leeds so far this season, according to WhoScored.

The young striker is progressing well at Elland Road, and he could soon get to start matches for Marcelo Bielsa’s side on a regular basis.

Leeds have signed a gem in Nketiah who will play an important role in their promotion quest.
