Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah has heaped praise on midfielder Declan Rice for his performance against Manchester United.
Declan Rice has been hailed for a simply ‘wonderful’ performance for Arsenal against Manchester United on Sunday.
That is the view of Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah, who has been speaking to the London Evening Standard.
Nketiah has gone away with the England national team in this international break, joining up with Rice, Bukayo Saka and more.
Nketiah is in line to win his first England cap as the Three Lions take on Ukraine and Scotland over the coming week.
That’s an incredible rise for Nketiah, who has been making the most of his chances in the Arsenal first team and will be looking to do the same for England.

Nketiah and the rest of his Arsenal teammates will still be on a real high after Sunday’s win over Manchester United.
The Gunners scored twice in injury-time to beat United 3-1 and send the Emirates Stadium absolutely barmy.
Rice put Arsenal in front late on as his deflected strike just about managed to beat Andre Onana at his near post.
Nketiah has now hailed Rice, suggesting that he turned in a ‘wonderful’ performance against United, even outside of his goal.
Nketiah also feels that Rice is a ‘great player’ and ultimately an ‘amazing’ addition to the Arsenal squad.
“It’s not for me to judge how much he’s worth but he’s a great player and a great lad, an amazing addition to the team,” said Nketiah.
“He had a wonderful performance, not just the goal, his whole performance. He’s going to help us so much and we’re really happy to have him in the team. I get on with him really well so it’s nice to have him around the dressing room. Hopefully he can have a big season and help us a lot this year,” he added.
Rice showing his all-round game for Arsenal
Arsenal paid such a huge fee for Rice because they knew that he could impact the game in so many ways.
Rice lined up as a holding midfielder against United and turned in a decent defensive display, recording three successful aerial duels, two interceptions and one clearance.
Rice has also shown his ability as a number eight though and can impact the game going forward with his ability to carry the ball.
Add in a first Emirates goal and Rice really showed off so much of his game against United, leaving Nketiah – and many others – very impressed.
