The England star joined the Cherries on a season-long loan from Arsenal on transfer deadline day.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has insisted that Jack Wilshere will have to prove himself to get into his starting XI just like any other player, despite admitting his admiration for the midfielder, as quoted by the London Evening Standard.
The Cherries pulled off one of the most acclaimed deals of the summer when they signed Wilshere from Arsenal on a season-long loan on deadline day.
The 24-year-old made the move after managing just three appearances last season due to a long-term injury, and it is seen as a chance for the midfielder to prove his fitness and form.

Having Wilshere in the centre of midfield will undoubtedly add a touch of class to the Bournemouth side, and he will surely be a regular fixture in the starting XI all season long – if fit, of course.
However, Howe has stressed that the England star will get no special treatment and will have to work just as hard to earn a starting berth as each of his new teammates.

Howe said, via the Standard: “Like any player he’ll have to go and prove himself to get into the first XI. But with his work ethic and undoubted talent I’m sure he will.
“He’s a very talented player. You can see that. Hes been very good, very positive,” Howe said when asked how Wilshere had settled into training.
“He was very keen to get on the pitch today and that bodes very well.”
Wilshere made his unofficial debut for the Cherries in Warren Cummings’ testimonial match on Saturday, and is expected to start for the club in their next Premier League fixture against West Bromwich Albion next weekend.
