Southampton drew 3-3 with Bournemouth on Saturday.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has told the Daily Mail that he thinks Southampton will be a lot better next season under Ralph Hasenhuttl.
The Cherries travelled to Southampton on Saturday afternoon, and the two teams played out a stunning 3-3 draw at St Mary’s Stadium.
A topsy-turvy game saw Shane Long put Southampton in front early on, only for Dan Gosling and Callum Wilson to turn the game on its head and have Bournemouth in front by half time.
Southampton then came out fighting and scored twice, with homegrown duo James Ward-Prowse and Matt Targett finding the back of the net – only for Wilson to pounce again late on to make it 3-3.
Southampton got the point they needed to stay in the top flight, completing their turnaround under Ralph Hasenhuttl following his December arrival as Mark Hughes’ replacement.
The Saints had taken just nine points from 15 games under Hughes, but have taken 29 points from 21 games, securing their Premier League status.

Former RB Leipzig boss Hasenhuttl has earned praise for how he’s turned Southampton around, and he will now have a summer transfer window to re-tool his squad.
Saturday’s opponent Howe has now celebrated both South Coast clubs being in the Premier League for next season, and predicted that Southampton will be ‘a lot stronger’ next season under Hasenhuttl.
“I think it’s great that we are both still in the Premier League. I think they’ll be a lot stronger next year,” said Howe.
