Harry Wilson, on loan from Liverpool, played well for Bournemouth against Aston Villa at the weekend.
Wilson joined Bournemouth on loan from Premier League rivals Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The winger made his debut for the Cherries at the weekend, as he featured against Villa away from home at Villa Park in the Premier League on Saturday.
The 22-year-old scored in the 12th minute of the match and had a good game overall.
According to WhoScored, the Wales international took five shots of which two were on target, had a pass accuracy of 90.5%, took 36 touches, made one clearance, and put it two crosses.
Bournemouth manager Howe was impressed with the display produced by Wilson, but he believes that it will not get easier for the youngster.
Howe told BBC Sport about Wilson: “He looked like he fitted into the team, he was getting balls in between the lines.
“The Premier League is such a high level, it will be a very hard challenge but he’s certainly started really well.”
Positive start
Wilson did well during his loan spell at Derby County last season, and it is clear that the Liverpool-owned winger will have to step up in 2019-20.
Given how he played against Villa at the weekend, the Wales international will be confident of having a good campaign on a personal level with Bournemouth.
