Liverpool have been linked with Bournemouth’s Lewis Cook in the summer transfer window.

Lewis Cook may not have had a great debut season for Bournemouth in 2016-17 following his move from Leeds United, but the 21-year-old former Elland Road favourite is showing what he is all about this campaign.
The 21-year-old midfielder, who is one of the best young players to have come through the Leeds academy in recent years, has been in great form this season and seems to have put the injury-ravaged 2016-17 campaign behind him.
According to The Sun, Liverpool are interested in signing Cook from Bournemouth in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wants the youngster as a potential replacement for Emre Can in a £20 million deal.
Cook has been called up to the latest England squad, and that could potentially see him attract the attention of other clubs.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe, though seems to have put a positive spin on speculation on Cook’s future.
Howe told The Bournemouth Echo when asked if England recognition could prompt interest in Cook: “I don’t look at that as a negative. I don’t think you can consume yourself worrying about things you can’t control.
“A lot of our players have admirers from other clubs, I see that as a positive. Ultimately, it will be up to us to decide what we do with our players.”

Hard for Liverpool to sign Cook?
Howe seems to suggest that it will be Bournemouth who will decide Cook’s future, and perhaps that could make it hard for Liverpool to sign him in the summer transfer window.
However, it could be tough for the Cherries to turn down a £20m offer, and Cook might himself be tempted to play for one of the biggest and most successful clubs in the world in Liverpool.
