Tom Aspinall’s latest YouTube upload offered a lighter moment away from the intensity of his heavyweight preparations.

The UFC heavyweight champion recently teamed up with Eddie Hearn, who became his agent last month, with the pair already appearing together regularly.

Their growing partnership has now produced a viral exchange, giving fans a glimpse into their dynamic.

In the video, Aspinall suggested Hearn take a series of leg kicks in the gym, a common test within MMA circles used to demonstrate a fighter’s power. Hearn immediately dismissed the idea.

Questioned why he turned down the heavyweight champion’s offer, he replied: “Because I’ve got a brain. These people, what, are they idiots or something? You’re going to let the UFC World Heavyweight Champion kick me on the leg?”

He added that there was no incentive to accept, even when told he could choose the level of power.

“I don’t give a f—. I’m not having 10%. You want to give me a couple of hundred grand or a million, I’ll do it. I’m not getting a broken cruciate, again, because that one’s been snapped.”

Tom Aspinall back in training as heavyweight return takes shape

The same video showed Aspinall back in training following eye surgery after the eye poke incident in his bout with Ciryl Gane at UFC 321.

He is not expected to return to the Octagon immediately, with a likely comeback pencilled in for later in the year.

Aspinall is expected to face the winner of Alex Pereira versus Ciryl Gane, which will take place at the White House on 14 June. A unification bout after September is the most likely scenario.
