The 21-year-old goalkeeper played well and made a number of brilliant saves, as the West Yorkshire outfit played out a 1-1 draw with the Black Cats in the league.
Leeds legend Gray was following the match, and the former Scotland international winger was impressed with the performance of the youngster.
The 70-year-old, who spent his entire playing career at Elland Road and was the first-team manager of the Whites in the 1980s, has also stated that Peacock-Farrell has been unfortunate in conceding the goals that he has.

“He has been a bit unfortunate in the goals we have conceded since he has been in because he didn’t really have a chance with any of them, but I thought he did well today.”
