Leeds United won against Barnsley in the Championship last weekend.

The Leeds legend has been impressed with the performance of the Spanish attacking midfielder for Leeds so far this season.

The 26-year-old, who can also operate as a forward, has scored five goals and provided four assists in 16 Championship starts for the Whites so far this campaign.
Saiz, who cost Leeds £3 million in transfer fees – as reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post – when they signed him from Huesca in the summer transfer window – scored in the Whites’ 2-0 victory over Barnsley away from home in the Championship last weekend.

Former Leeds and Scotland international winger Gray was impressed with the performance of Saiz and has made some very encouraging observations about the Spaniard.
“What I like about him now, I think he has realised he has to be strong, he is battling with defenders, and he is good at holding balls up, he is very, very clever,” Gray told LUTV about Saiz.
The Championship is a very tough and rigorous domestic league, and it is great that Saiz has adapted to the division so quickly.
