Pablo Hernandez and Samu Saiz are massive players for Leeds United, says Eddie Gray.

Speaking to LUTV, Eddie Gray has lavished praise on Leeds United duo Samu Saiz and Pablo Hernandez.
The Whites pair were superb last week as Leeds kicked off their season with a brilliant 3-1 win over Stoke City – a Premier League side last term – at Elland Road.
Hernandez, on around £19,000 per week in West Yorkshire according to The Star, scored United’s second on the stroke of half time to give Marcelo Bielsa’s side a two-goal cusion heading into the break, after Saiz set up Mateusz Klich’s opener.
The two Spanish schemers will play a massive part in anything that the Elland Road outfit go on to achieve this season.
And Gray has been raving about both of them on LUTV:
“He’s got great quality. I think he brings that extra bit of vision and quality in the last third. Same with Samu Saiz. I thought he was tremendous in the first half [versus Stoke].
“Between the two of them, they make the team tick, they see what the other players don’t see. The two of them have great vision.”
Leeds go to Derby County this evening in what might be a bigger test than Stoke.

Not only is it the Whites’ first away game of what promises to be a gruelling season, but the Rams also go into the game on the back of a win after beating Reading 2-1 away last week.
Frank Lampard’s troops also have the luxury of having had an extra day to recover, which is significant when you see how hard Leeds worked on and off the ball against the Potters.
Such exertion would have no doubt floored them physically, but hopefully for their sake Bielsa’s rigourous pre-season training regimen will kick in and they’ll be conditioned for such quick recoveries.
