Will Bailey Peacock-Farrell’s performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers see him remain in goal for Leeds United against Reading today?

Eddie Gray has suggested to LUTV that Bailey Peacock-Farrell will keep his place in the Leeds United starting lineup against Reading this weekend.

Peacock-Farrell featured for Leeds in their Championship game against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road on Wednesday evening.

Although the West Yorkshire outfit lost 3-0, the performance of the 21-year-old goalkeeper was very encouraging.

Leeds legend Gray believes that the youngster will keep his place in the Whites’ team for their Championship match against Reading away from home at the Madejski Stadium this afternoon.

The former Leeds manager told LUTV when asked if Peacock-Farrell will start against Reading: “I think he will. I would be surprised if he didn’t really, I have got to be honest.”

Felix Wiedwald dropped again?

Felix Wiedwald has been the first-choice Leeds goalkeeper so far this season, but the 27-year-old German has made costly errors from time to time this season.

Given the impressive performance of Peacock-Farrell against Wolves, it would make sense for Leeds head coach Paul Heckingbottom to hand the 21-year-old another chance.

Leeds seem to be out of the running for the Championship playoffs, but a win against Reading is certainly going help boost the team’s morale.
