Leeds United’s last move for a HJK Helsinki player was not so successful.

The 19-year-old defender plays for HJK Helsinki in Finland, a club the Whites have signed a player from once before.
Back in 2008 Leeds moved to sign Sebastian Sorsa, landing him on a free transfer after his HJK contract ran down.
The winger had a successful trial and impressed Leeds manager Dennis Wise, who sanctioned an 18 month contract for the 23-year-old.

Unfortunately that was as good as it got for Sorsa, who failed to make a single appearance for Leeds in a truly forgettable spell at the club.
He has since re-established himself as a full-back, having been sold by Leeds after just seven months, joining Scottish side Hamilton.
Sorsa’s time there was little better, and he was released and rejoined HJK Helsinki, where he played for seven consecutive seasons before moving on this summer.
The defender even played in the same side as latest Leeds target Halme, who is a Finland under-21 international centre-back.
Halme may be wary about leaving his homeland and making a big move, and Sorsa’s story is a cautionary tale for all parties.
But then again it could hardly be worse…
