The Celtic midfielder impressed against Dundee on Saturday.

When Celtic first signed Eboue Kouassi from FK Krasnodar it was hailed as a savvy piece of business from the Bhoys. After all, the teenager was already impressing in Russia and seemingly had the innate talent to excel in the Scottish Premiership.
Unfortunately for Kouassi, his early performances were shaky to say the least and an early injury robbed him of potential game time this season.

However, he is now fit and firing and his performance in Celtic’s 1-0 victory against Dundee at the weekend suggested Kouassi could have a big role to play for the Bhoys sooner rather than later.
The 19-year-old has what it takes to form an effective long-term partnership with Olivier Ntcham, and while Scott Brown is going nowhere for the foreseeable future, his young teammate could well replace him in time.

It was always going to take time for the teenager to settle into his new surroundings, but once he shakes off the latest rust it would be no surprise to see Kouassi finally fulfil his potential at Celtic Park.
It would be easy – and foolish – to slam his early performances when he is so young, especially when he showed during pre-season against Sunderland what he can do when he puts his mind to it.
The Celtic youngster was brilliant that day and there were enough glimpses against Dundee to suggest he will come good in time.
By the time he reaches his early twenties, he should be taking Scotland by storm and proving his worth week in, week out for the Bhoys.
