Ebere Eze will wear Queens Park Rangers’ coveted No.10 shirt for the 2018/19 Championship campaign.
Queens Park Rangers officially announced their squad numbers for the upcoming season on Wednesday, with Ebere Eze’s inclusion as number ten the main talking point.
The 20-year-old will wear the iconic number in the 2018/19 Championship campaign, as QPR boss Steve McClaren highlights the importance of Eze in his side.
The west Londoners have high hopes for the play-maker and McClaren appears to have seen enough progress from the former Wycombe loanee to make him the focal point of attack.
Eze has been brilliant for QPR so far this pre-season and R’s fans will be hopeful that form extends into the new season. It is a bold move from McClaren but one that could pay dividends.

The former Derby County and Newcastle United boss only arrived at Loftus Road in May, but will likely be reliant on Eze to demonstrate his class early on to appease the board and fans.
From Eze’s perspective, it is an exciting but challenging time as much expectation will now fall on the shoulders of the young hopeful. However, the Nigerian-born forward seems to thrive under pressure and will surely do so given his new role.
