Chris Sutton told BBC Radio 5 Live Sport that Raphinha was the ‘best player on the pitch’ during Leeds United’s 2-0 win against Crystal Palace on Monday night.
The former striker also claimed that he would rather buy a season ticket to watch Leeds play rather than Palace.
It’s fair to say that Marcelo Bielsa’s side have been the entertainers of this unusual Premier League campaign.
And whilst Palace didn’t offer much at Elland Road yesterday, Leeds were at their typical 100 miles per hour best.
“I think he’s been the best player on the pitch, Raphinha,” said Sutton. “But what about his take just moments before? Beautifully taken. Real flair player.
“It’s an easy one, isn’t on this season? You would rather pay to watch Leeds United than Crystal Palace.”

Whilst some feel that Bielsa is over lauded by the media, it needs to be remembered that a large crop of players now sitting tenth in the Premier League table were struggling in the Championship before he took over.
From Liam Cooper to Stuart Dallas, the improvement Leeds have made as a team and as individuals has been remarkable.
And as was proven by Raphinha’s performance last night, there is no stopping to the new crop coming in and taking their game to the next level, and that within six months of their arrival.
