Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers and Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic should monitor Newcastle United-owned Blackburn Rovers striker Adam Armstrong.

Graeme Murty’s Rangers do not require a striker right now, but the Ibrox club could need one in the summer transfer window.
It remains to be seen if Jason Cummings’ loan deal from Nottingham Forest is made permanent, and Alfredo Morelos could have offers in the summer – just as he had in the January transfer window, as reported by Sky Sports.
Celtic could also be in need of a striker in the summer transfer window. According to The Daily Record, the Hoops will attempt to sell Moussa Dembele to the highest bidder – and this means that Brendan Rodgers’s side will need a replacement for the Frenchman.

Both Rangers and Celtic would be wise to keep tabs on Newcastle United-owned Blackburn Rovers striker Adam Armstrong.
Armstrong is flying in League One at the moment and is banging in the goals left, right and centre.

The 21-year-old has scored seven goals and provided two assists in 13 appearances for Rovers and won the Player of the Month award in February.
The youngster knows to how get goals when deployed as a striker and is also able to create chances for his teammates.
It is hard to see the former England Under-20 international striker break into the Newcastle first team next season, especially if the Magpies retain their Premier League status.
The prospect of playing for Rangers or Celtic could be very tempting to Armstrong, and Newcastle could also find the idea of seeing how the youngster performs playing in a hugely pressurised environment very appealing.
