Henri Lansbury should consider leaving Aston Villa in the summer transfer window.

Henri Lansbury is one of the best midfielders in the Championship, but the former Nottingham Forest star is struggling to get much playing time at Aston Villa at the moment.
The 27-year-old midfielder has made only five starts and just three substitute appearances in the Championship for Villa so far this season, scoring one goal and provided three assists in the process.
True, a hamstring injury earlier in the season saw Lansbury stay on the sidelines for two months, but even now when he is fully fit, the former Forest star to struggling to play regularly for Steve Bruce’s side.

If Villa get promoted to the Premier League at the end of the season, then it is going to become even harder for the former Arsenal midfielder to convince manager Bruce that he is good enough to play week in and week out.

It is time for Lansbury, who cost Villa £2.75 million in transfer fees when he joined from Championship rivals Forest in January 2017 according to BBC Sport, to make a decision on his future.

During his time at the City Ground, the 27-year-old proved himself in the Championship, and he would certainly be good enough for a club aiming to finish in the top six of the division next season.
Lansbury should look to leave Villa in the summer transfer window and join a team where he can play regularly.
