Arsenal should make a move for Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford in he summer transfer window.
Petr Cech’s performances for Arsenal for the past two seasons have not been great, and there is also the small matter of the former Chelsea goalkeeper being 35 years of age.
Although Cech remains a very good Premier League goalkeeper, it is time for Arsenal to look to the future and sign a younger player for that position.
Jordan Pickford would be a brilliant signing for Arsenal. The England international goalkeeper may have joined Everton from Sunderland only last summer, but the Gunners should make a bid for the 24-year-old.
Pickford, who earns £60,000 per week as salary at Everton according to Spotrac.com, has made mistakes on occasions this season, but the 24-year-old is a supremely confident goalkeeper who is good with his feet, distributes the ball well and is also brilliant at shot-stopping.
