Football has a way of writing the script perfectly and that will certainly be the case at the City Ground this Saturday as Nottingham Forest host Derby County.

As if there was not already enough spark in the East Midlands derby, the match will also see both clubs with new managers in the dugout for the first time.

Gary Rowett and Mark Warburton were appointed Derby and Forest bosses respectively within 24 hours of each other this week and both will be keen to get off to the perfect start at the weekend.

The two sides are in poor form; with the Reds two points outside the relegation zone with five defeats from their last seven and the Rams having won just one of their last nine.

The arrival of a new manager and the upturn in morale that it brings can often see a marked improvement during the first game. So what happens when both teams have new men in charge for the first time?

We will find out on Saturday in what already looks set to be a cracker of a derby.
