Some West Ham fans on social media have been fawning over Jarrod Bowen after yet another unbelievable performance against Watford on Tuesday.
How did Bowen get on?
To put it bluntly, Bowen was exceptional against Watford.
The Hornets, quite simply, couldn’t deal with the former Hull City man on Wednesday.
He crafted two assists, and while he didn’t manage to score a goal, he was a threat time and time again, using his pace, guile and technical brilliance to carve the Watford defence to bits.
Bowen has been brilliant in recent weeks, and as hard as it may be to believe, his performance against Watford may have been his best performance yet.
Knocking on the England door
West Ham have proven that they’re more than just a flash in the pan this season, and so has Bowen.
The 25-year-old has now proven himself at this level over an extended period of time, and it’s fair to say that he’s knocking on the England door.
The Three Lions have a number of brilliant wide players, but with the likes of Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling underperforming this season, you have to imagine that Gareth Southgate will be having a serious look at Bowen.
