Bristol City manager Lee Johnson looks on as his side lose for the first time this season
City were unlucky not to get on the scoreboard when striker Jonathan Kodjia hit the woodwork, but both sides suffered their fair share of bad luck with Norwich themselves hitting the woodwork on two occasions.
In a post-match interview on Twitter, manager Johnson was positive about the efforts of his side.
He said: “I can’t be harsh on them. If we had nicked one then I don’t think they could have argued.
“We’ve got a young side and we’re still a work in progress, but the lads are learning fast.”
Bristol fans on Twitter were equally upbeat about tonight, with the majority taking the positives out of the result.
The Robins host Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon as they look to return to winning ways.
With the Magpies lying 22nd in the table, City can be confident of getting the win.
