Transfer expert Dean Jones has told Give Me Sport that Eintracht Frankfurt star Daichi Kamada is a target for Sean Dyche and Everton ahead of the summer – with Liverpool, Newcastle, Tottenham and Manchester City also keen.

Kamada, 26, is out of contract at the end of the season as he approaches six years with the Europa League winners. In that time, he has clocked up 160 games for Frankfurt, having a hand in 68 goals. This season, Kamada is on fire.

Perhaps, with the thought of impressing potential suitors, Kamada has clocked up 13 goals and five assists in 28 games. Available on a free, Premier League clubs can approach Kamada right now on a pre-contract arrangement.

Jones, widely renowned for his transfer knowledge, told Give Me Sport that he is on Everton’s radar. Dyche is aware that the club will not be able to spend big, so the likes of Kamada will suit the Toffees, over the next few months.

Football site 90Min claim that Everton are not alone, though. They say that Newcastle, Spurs, Liverpool and even Premier League champions City are also showing interest in Kamada. The race is hotting up for the Japan star.

“At this stage, you wouldn’t expect them to be having a big outlay. I think Sean Dyche is already understanding of that, but certainly, you know, he’s a player already on their radar they’ll be looking at,” Jones said, on Kamada.

Where is his best move? Clearly, Kamada will be leaving Frankfurt but having won the Europa League and playing in this season’s Champions League, he will have a taste for European football. That probably rules Everton out.

Especially, given their position in the table and that they have no chance of finishing in the European places. Spurs could do with cover, especially if Lucas Moura and Arnaut Danjuma leave the club at the end of the season.

Liverpool need a player that can play in the final third, or deeper in midfield. Newcastle need more depth in that area – but he would struggle to get a game at City. So, Liverpool, Spurs or Newcastle would be Kamada’s best choice.
