Tottenham Hotspur confirmed the arrivals of two new signings on deadline day, in the form of Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur. Paulo Dybala has sent Instagram messages to both, as they leave his Juventus side.
Kulusevski, 21, was signed by Fabio Paratici at Juventus from Atalanta – and while he enjoyed a superb first season, he has failed to replicate that form under Max Allegri. Juventus have just spent big on Dusan Vlahovic.
It has seen Juve look to cash in on some fringe players and Sweden wonderkid Kulusevski is one of those. The deal is an 18-month loan deal, with the option of making it permanent, for a fee of around £30million.
Meanwhile, Uruguay international Bentancur has also joined – but for a permanent fee of £20million. Both leave Juventus and Dybala has sent both messages, with the words on Instagram translated below.
To Bentancur, Dybala said: “All the best brother, it was a great pleasure to play with you. To share so many trips and talks together. I’ll miss you a lot.” To Kulusevski, he simply said: “I wish you the best, good luck.”

Dybala reacts: Do Bentancur and Kulusevski improve Tottenham?
Right now, it is up in the air. Bentancur certainly does on paper. An experienced player at Juventus and for his country, the midfielder is still young but is much more in the mould of what he expects from his midfield.
That is, being compared to Dele Alli, Tanguy Ndombele and Gio Lo Celso. Bentancur is more of a deep-lying playmaker that is willing to put a tackle in – a step up from Oliver Skipp, and perhaps even Harry Winks.
Kulusevski is more one for the future, but already boasts the magic necessary to fight Lucas Moura for a place on the right flank. It is about turning those glimpses into consistency.
