Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea have joined Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the race for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, according to 90min.

90min have reported that Chelsea have made contact with Dybala’s representatives through intermediaries.

The defending European champions hope to open talks with the Juventus forward once they get new owners and plan to sign him on a free transfer.

The Argentina international, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a forward, is out of contract at Juventus at the end of the season.

It has already been announced that the 28-year-old will leave Juventus in the summer of 2022 and will become a free agent.

TuttoMercatoWeb reporter Giacomo Iacobellis has claimed that both Arsenal and Tottenham have held talks with Dybala’s entourage.

Chelsea interest in Paulo Dybala blow for Tottenham Hotspur

In our opinion, Chelsea’s reported interest in Dybala is a blow for Tottenham in their quest to sign the Argentine on a free transfer in the summer of 2022.

It is only a matter of time before Chelsea get new owners.

Tuchel’s side will almost certainly finish in the Premier League top four this season and could also win the Champions League.

Again.

Moreover, Chelsea are a wealthy club who could easily afford the Argentine’s salary of £222,000 per week (Salary Sport).
