Aston Villa have won just one Championship match so far this season.

Dwight Yorke has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on 21st September, that Aston Villa need to start to change the mentality of their supporters by winning football matches.
There is a frustration and nervousness being felt around Villa Park currently, after a poor start to the season.
Villa have won just one Championship match this term, following their relegation from the Premier League last season.
And Yorke feels that his former side need to start winning their supporters’ confidence back, by beating Newcastle United in their next fixture.

“This is a game which they should be focused on, the Newcastle game,” Yorke said to TalkSPORT. “If they can beat one of the favourites, they can turn it around. They need to get the confidence in the fans and being optimistic. That’s the thing they need to change.
“A really positive result can kick start their season, but if not they will continue to struggle.”
Villa invested heavily over the summer to try and bring in the attacking quality to fire them to promotion.

However, the Midlands side are still struggling to get over the line in matches.
Villa have thrown away nine points from winning positions so far this season, and they are stuck down in 18th place in the Championship table.
Newcastle, meanwhile, have started life outside the Premier League in far better fashion – and they have won six of their last seven matches.
