NBA legend Dwight Howard recently ran into one former Los Angeles Lakers star in New York City.

Dwight Howard has retired from the NBA, but he still remains one of the most recognizable athletes in the country. After all, Howard’s 6’10” frame makes it hard to ignore him.

Keeping that in mind, Howard was recently spotted on the streets of New York City by a fan who apparently mistook him for Miami Heat superstar Bam Adebayo.

Dwight Howard spots Andrew Bynum while interacting with a fan

While Howard was clarifying a young fan that he’s not Adebayo, the 3x NBA Defensive Player of the Year winner spotted Kobe Bryant’s former teammate, Andrew Bynum, walking towards them.

“That b____ tall right there. That n____ tall as s___. … Is that Andrew Bynum? That is Andrew Bynum,” Howard said.

Howard originally posted this interaction on his Snapchat account, but it has now gone viral on X after multiple handles shared it.

Speaking of Bynum, he was the 10th overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft and spent seven seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Bynum played alongside Kobe in LA and helped the Purple and Gold win two NBA Championships before injuries ruined his career.
