West Bromwich Albion returned to winning ways in the Championship on Saturday evening, as Darren Moore’s side got the better of Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United 4-1.

Leeds headed into the match against West Brom at The Hawthorns high on confidence, and the travelling fans must have been expecting a win.

However, the Baggies destroyed Leeds and won the Championship game 4-1 with ease.

The performance of Moore’s team in the second half was superb, as the White suffered their worst defeat of the season so far.

Dwight Gayle, signed on loan from Premier League club Newcastle United in the summer transfer window, was among the goalscorers for West Brom.

The 29-year-old former Crystal Palace striker – who earns £40,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – has taken to Twitter to revel in the win.

Gayle’s comments about a team performance sums up the main reason why West Brom could win agains Leeds.

Midfielder Harvey Barnes, signed on loan from Leicester City in the summer transfer window, scored against Leeds, and the 20-year-old has taken to Twitter to revel in the win.
