Everton and Celtic have been linked with Besiktas defender Dusko Tosic in the January transfer window.

Besiktas defender Dusko Tosic is reportedly a wanted man in the January transfer window, with Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Celtic all claimed to be interested in signing him this month.
Fotospor has credited Scottish Premiership giants Celtic with interest in the Serbia international defender, with Fanatik claiming of interest from Premier League duo Tottenham and Everton in the 32-year-old.
Tosic is a versatile and experienced defender who can operate as a centre-back or as a left-back, and one can understand why Spurs, Everton and Celtic are (reportedly) interested in him.

According to The Daily Record, Besiktas would be looking for around £2.6 million as transfer fee in order to part company with Tosic, whose contract at the Turkish giants runs until the summer of 2019.
The defender has revealed that he has been receiving offers for the past two years and is happy playing for Besiktas.
Tosic, though, has suggested that he would be unable to do anything if Besiktas themselves decide to sell him.

The Daily Record quotes Tosic as saying: “I have been receiving offers for the past couple of years. In truth, I am very happy in Istanbul.
“I am enjoying the best time of my life here. We win titles, we are challenging with the best teams in the world and we have brilliant fans.
“I want to stay at this great club unless the board has different plans for me. I respect their decision but if they don’t want to sell me then I’m definitely staying here and will fight for my jersey.”
