Liverpool aren’t out of the Dusan Vlahovic race just yet, and have asked to be kept informed about the Fiorentina striker’s situation.
That’s according to 90Min, who claim that Liverpool have made contact to indicate that they would like to know about Vlahovic’s plans moving forward.
Vlahovic is expected to leave Fiorentina in 2022, but the Italian side are now hoping for a bidding war.
That doesn’t exactly smack of Liverpool’s ideal world, with FSG usually spending wisely.
Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, Chelsea and Manchester City are in a similar boat in terms of wanting to know about Vlahovic’s plans.
Add in interest from Juventus, Paris Saint-German and Borussia Dortmund, and this could be a transfer scramble like few we’ve seen in recent times.
Vlahovic, 21, has been ridiculous this season. With 16 goals in 20 games – oh and three assists – Vlahovic is taking Italy by storm.
The Serbian will move on later this year for a huge fee, and would ultimately give Liverpool a completely different threat.

Big, physical and a penalty box threat, Vlahovic has branded himself the new Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
That’s totally different to anything Liverpool have in their attack right now, and you can understand why the Reds are keen.
The onus will soon be on FSG to come up with an offer, with Arsenal currently leading the race and facing a £150million total outlay for Vlahovic.
