Huddersfield Town and Wigan Athletic are weighing up moves for former Nottingham Forest defender Kelvin Wilson, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Wilson is currently a free agent after leaving Forest at the end of his contract earlier this month.
The 30-year-old, who was in his second spell at the City Ground, made 51 appearances for Forest after rejoining the club from Celtic in 2013.

News of Wilson’s availability on a free transfer has alerted a number of clubs and both Wigan and Huddersfield are ready to offer the defender the chance to remain in the Championship.
Wigan and Huddersfield are in the market for defensive reinforcements this summer with Wigan looking to strengthen their squad as they prepare for life in the Championship, while Huddersfield boss David Wagner is keen to bolster his squad as he looks to improve on a disappointing campaign last season.
The duo see Wilson as someone who would bring valuable leadership and experience to their respective side’s and the player is now weighing up his options before deciding where to continue his career.
